My Story

I can deliver projects which help to maximise the value of the river and freshwater environment including: river restoration, wetland design and creation, barrier removal, water quality and fisheries assessment, and water framework directive (WFD) compliance investigations.

I have lots of experience of dealing with landowners, communities and other stakeholders including water companies and environmentaI regulators. I can discuss with landowners potential solutions to reduce their environmental impact and improve biodiversity on their farms. Having developed the Bristol Water catchment management programme I can also help farmers access this and other schemes.

For the past ten years I have been at Bristol Water where I developed and ran the Mendips catchment management programme, oversaw delivery of Bristol Water's WINEP (development and delivery of environmental projects and investigations), and latterly I managed development of WRMP29.
